Where is he now?

After an amazing 6 year NFL career, and in the prime of his professional career, client, Napoleon Kaufman abruptly retired in 2001 to pursue a career as a minister. Today Napoleon is the Senior Pastor at The Well Christian Community Church in Dublin, California.

As the University of Washington’s all-time leader in rushing yards (4,106), Napoleon was picked in the 1st round of the 1995 NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders (18th overall). In his six years in the NFL, Napoleon rushed for 4,892 yards with 12 touchdowns and still ranks 4th on the NFL all-time rushing average with a 4.9 yards per carry average.

Today, The Well has a congregation of over 450 families and Pastor Kaufman’s sermons are televised across the Bay Area (San Francisco). He also host a weekly television program titled “The Hope of Glory” that is seen in California and internationally. Napoleon’s ministries have taken him across the world: Russia, China, you name it and Napoleon has more then likely ministered the word of God there. An amazing speaker and lecturer, Napoleon has not once regretted his decision to walk away from the NFL early. Napoleon and his wife, Nicole, have three boys: Napoleon, Nathanael, Nehemiah and his little girl, Natalia.
