In the fourth round of the 2011 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select defensive back Chris Prosinski with the 121st pick. Finally, the Jaguars select a defensive player in the draft. Prosinski came in for a late private visit with the Jaguars last week. He’s very productive and has some nice measureables.

He’s a little over 6-0 and 200lbs playing the free safety position at Wyoming. At his Pro Day, Prosinski ran the 40-yard dash in 4.36 seconds and 4.39 seconds, the short shuttle in 4.28 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.85 seconds. He measured an 11-foot-2 broad jump, a 39 1/2-inch vertical jump and completed 14 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press.

A 3-year starter for the Cowboys, Prosinski finished off his career with two straigh 100+ tackle seasons and forcing 4 fumbles. He also intercepted 5 passes in his career, including two in his final season at Wyoming.
